Questions for Michael Longoria
Michael made his Broadway debut in Hairspray. Back in the day, Hairspray didnt have a black male swing track, just two male swings and he had the unique opportunity to officially cover both white and black male ensemble roles. Later he took over the role of IQ.
Currently he can be seen playing the leading role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys where he originated the role of Joe Pesci. Longoria is also one of few men to play Peter Pan, which garnered a Barrymore nomination for his portrayal in the American premiere of Peter Pan and Wendy at Prince Music Theater.
Other credits: West Side Story as Chino (Walnut Street), A Chorus Line as Mark (Helen Hayes PAC), Avenue X as Chuck (Abe Burrows Theater).
In Europe he appeared in West Side Story as Baby John (Teatro alla Scala-Milan), and in A Chorus Line as Paul (Germany Tour).
Also known for being a singer-songwriter, Michael has performed at CB's Gallery, Cutting Room, Joe's Pub, The Knitting Factory, and Carolines on Broadway.
Lets hear some questions!

Re: Questions for Michael Longoria
How did you get your start in musical theatre?
Out of all the different roles that you have taken on, what was the most challenging to play?

Re: Questions for Michael Longoria
Do you feel like you have more freedom in your performance now that you are playing Frankie six times a week and have several new cast members as opposed to when you had to step into a slot twice a week with an established dynamic?
