posticon Hooray !!!

I finally got to see the show

So so so happy

Saw it on October 24th, in the westend

Absolutley Loved it

The cast were absolutley fantastic & the show was just full of energy

How anyone can sing & dance to "You can't stop the beat" is beyond me, those guys must have real stamina

Mel Smith & Michael Ball were terific, In "You're timeless to me" when they kissed the audience were cheering, clapping & wolf whistling & Mel & Michael were in fits of laughter & couldn't finish the song properly

I really want to see this again asap

Leanne was really great as Tracey a fab westend debut & the same for Ben as Link

Went to the stage door & got Leanne (Tracey) Ben (Link) Elionor (Penny) and Paul (Corney) auographs and i got a photo with Ben, was a brilliant night can't wait to go back emoticon

Feel free to ask me anything you want to know about it !!!

As i haven't seen it on broadway i wouldn't know what the differences are i can only compare it to the film

Obviously it has all the jail stuff which i know the film doesn't but broadway show does

Very simplistic sets, but i thought that was good as your eye's were more focused upon the dancing etc

I don't really know what to say so like i said ask & im more then happy to answer emoticon

As far as I know, Tracy's living room is the same as on Broadway... and the Welcome to the 60's dresses are also the same. Not sure about the Hardy Har hut.

In Welcome to the 60's, Edna sings, "First lets make a pit stop at the hotdog stand."

And the end of that song has the bits added in from the movie.

Yup, it's the same. There is a Har De Har Hut. I really hope Michael Ball comes over to Broadway after he's done with the West End production; he looks fantastic. In case anyone didn't know, there are a bunch of new photos and videos posted on the West End site.

I haven't seen the West End Har-De-Har Hut, but there are LOTS of little alterations to the show, set, costumes that were made for London
