The old one was ok... I just can't stand Divine! I knew he was a guy the whole time! In the new one, I barely remembered it was John!

Really? Because I had a hard time trying to forget it was John. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big John Travolta fan, but I was not thrilled when I heard he'd be playing Edna in the new movie. There were definitely some things about his performance that I wasn't crazy about, but overall I felt he did a good job. But the entire time I watched him, all I could think about was "this is John Travolta." He still looked like himself; only he looked as if he'd gained 75 lbs and started dressing in drag haha.
